CSCO mapping - the Environment Centre (tEC)

The Carbon Saving Communities Obligation (CSCO) of ECO offered energy efficiency measures to households in certain areas. Households within these areas were eligible for free or subsidised cavity wall and loft insulation and connections to district heating networks.

We created a searchable map to identify areas across Hampshire that were eligible for help under the ECO CSCO funding. The searchable map helped us to advise local residents about their eligibility for this support. In addition to the maps we produced searchable spreadsheets of areas under different strands for ECO including adjoining areas in a variety of formats.

The map below is an example map produced using this data. It includes both the originally eligible areas (red) and areas that became eligible following the government’s 2013 consultation on changes to ECO (yellow).

Please note that changes to the Energy Company Obligation came into effect on 1st April 2017 and the CSCO element is no longer available.
