The application stage for this scheme has now closed, funding has been allocated and we are working to deliver improvements across the city.

Southampton City Council was awarded funding by the Department of Energy and Climate Change to carry out a regeneration project across the city. The council used the funding to help homeowners and private renters make their homes more comfortable at a greatly reduced cost.

Southampton City Council looked to insulate homes with solid walls. Insulating these walls has many benefits, including:

  • transforming the look of your home
  • increasing the value of your home
  • increasing comfort
  • giving you peace of mind with a 25 year insurance backed guarantee

Southampton City Council is working closely with E.On, Trading Standards and the Environment Centre (tEC), however should you have any questions about the scheme please call the Environment Centre on 0800 804 8601 (Mon to Fri, 9am,-5pm).
Please note, due to changes in Government policy, from July 23 2015 there is no longer Green Deal finance available for customers.
