Building for the Future - Sustainable Construction for Professionals
The overall aim of GROW project A.1.1.1 is to share best practice information about sustainable construction in Further
Education (FE) Colleges by:

Preparing three ‘How to’ Guides based on the themes of how to commission sustainable construction, water conservation, and energy conservation. |
| 2. |
Preparing two case study write-ups of exemplars of sustainable construction in FE, which include information about the sustainable construction process involved, a cost-benefit analysis of the sustainable strategies deployed and post-occupancy building evaluation. |

The findings from the project will be used by AOSEC to assist FE colleges win the argument for sustainable construction when
they address their board of governors or funding bodies.
