A blueprint for sustainable development
This workshop will discuss how the 11 local authorities in South Hampshire have co-operated to research and develop a sub-regional sustainable development policy, the outcome of which is now included in the Draft South East Plan.*
Other EU partners will discuss new approaches to architecture and design to allow the mainstreaming of low carbon approaches to construction to be realized.
The workshop considers the findings of the project and how the outcomes can lead to the delivery of the low carbon agenda across the EU.
Presenters:
Dr Richard Williams
Project Manager, The Environment Centre (tEC) and PUSH (11 local authorities of the Partnership of Urban South Hampshire)
Dr Grazyna Schneider-Skalska
