John Brightwell has worked on properties new and old for over 30 years in a professional capacity, latterly as project manager, either as a consultant or part of the client organisation. A keen interest in mechanical and electrical services and an awareness of institutional over-specification has led to a wish to return to basics, an opportunity offered by the Student Services Building. Team-building, sharing awareness of the aims and how they are achieved are vital aspects of this project, and the learning experience still continues today
