Dr Howard Lee
Sustainability Co-ordinator, Hadlow College
Howard Lee is an agricultural expert, teacher and researcher. He has lectured for nearly tenty years in sustainable agriculture and relevant policy challenges at Wye College (University of London) and more recently at Hadlow College. He has a special interest in stimulating the generation of regional rural and urban communities which are more self sufficient in energy, food and water. He is now the Programme Leader of a new Foundation and Honours Degree in Sustainable Land Management at Hadlow College.
He has also recently encouraged the College to join with village residents in forming the 'HadLow Carbon Community' and many participative enterprises have already started. Howard is a member of the SECCP and a consultant on climate change issues to local councils and other organisations. He is on the editorial board of the International Journal of Agricultural Sustainability and a regular external examiner to other Universities.
